Okonkwo was well known to be the fearless man who was the unsurpassed warrior in all the nine villages. The tribe honored him so much that they made him responsible of sending messages of death and war to the enemy tribe. The tribe was so frightful of okonkwo that they surrendered a virgin woman, with a young lad of their tribe.

The virgin woman was sent to Udo from okonkwo for the remission of his assassinated wife. The very frightful young lad was summoned to okonkwo and his family. The elders of Umuofia decided to let the Ikemfuna remain with okonkwo for a couple of years. A handful of time the young lad tried to escape the tribe, but he had no were to go.

The young lad was so freighted that he tried to escape the very presence of Umuofia. Ikemfuna had delayed all of his meals due to the remembrance of his former family. When Okonkwo found that the young lad wasn’t eating, he took his big stick and hovered over the Ikemfuna as he devoured his food.

Ikemfuna became very popular in the Okonkwo residence. He was the oldest of all the siblings in the household. He was a positive example and a brother of all the children in the compound. Okonkwo began to establish a very close relationship with the young lad and the young lad grew close to his extended father.

The young lad was very equipped in all areas in his life. He was well grounded with outdoor, indoor work. No doubt Okonkwo was starting to have favor with Ikemfuna. Okonkwo was a man that never showed any signs of emotions because that was a sign of weakness.

The bond between okonkwo and Ikemfuna was more than a friendship, but it was a father and son type of relationship. Even though Okonkwo had favor with his new son he treated him like every one else with a heavy and hurtful fist. Indeed Okonkwo started to travel with Ikemfuna to ancestral feasts, and big village meetings. Ikemfuna felt so secure with his new family that he forgot about his former family in the enemy tribe.

When it looked like all the difficulties were upon Okonkwo feature, he looked for Nwakibie for support. Okonkwo had cleared his farm, but had no yams to sow. Okonkwo began to reason with Nwakibie why he should lend him some yams. Back in that age period it was very rare for a man to pay back what he owed. He assured Nwakibie that he loves to work, and he will pay back what he had borrowed.

Okonkwo stood up for himself at an age where kids still received milk from their mother’s breast. So Nwakibie now had a feeling of trust towards the young man. Out of the tenderness of Nwakibie heart he gave okonkwo twice the amount of yams that which he had asked for.

This was the New Year that Okonkwo expected the greatest harvest. This was actually the worst year he had ever experienced. He planted all the yams and was hoping for a good harvest. Things didn’t go as attend, and rain fell like it never felled before.

This harvest was a disaster for the whole entire village. Every man in the tribe awaited a good harvest but favor wasn’t on their side. It was like a funeral as men felted the sharp edge of a sword pierced them in the heart. They had to dig out their most valuable pieces of treasure. It was a year that the entire tribe would never forget.

Despite the worst criticism that Okonkwo received form the entire villages, he grew up into a young and well respectable man. It was very difficult for a child to receive such criticisms and still get out of their situations. Deep in his young soul it took a lot to overcome his circumstances and live a life of prosperity. Okonkwo is known as the greatest, historical wrester in all of the villages.

For a man to have such success he was a representative of the Umuofia tribe. Okonkwo was now amongst the sacred tribal leaders. So much power and strength must have overtook him to know be apart of such dignify people. What a honor it is to read and learn about the culture of Africans.

This is the launch of a great novel that I can't hardly wait to read. In the prime couple of lines Okonkwo and Amalinze were mentioned. No one ever in the History of Umuofia defeated the great cat called Amalinze. Okonkwo deafted Amalinze and was crowned the greatest warror/wrestler in the entire 9 villages.

Okonkwo brought honor and a great future to himself and his village Umuofia. Okonkwo was tall and hairy, and had a temper like a roaring lion. He was a average human being who will murder you for even getting him angry. Despite Okonkwo Dad Unoka, Okonkwo brought great reputation to the village.

Unoka was afflicted with serious pain and swelling. Unoka had a bad chi and personal God. Every situation in his life ended up in disaster. When Unoka had serious selling the villages believed that it was an abomination to the earth goddess.

When a man was afflicted with serious pain and swelling, Unoka wasn’t allowed to die in his own home. He would be carried to the Evil Forest were he was left to pass away. If any man escaped the Evil forest the villagers would take him back to the evil forest, and tie him down to a tree.
